Section problems for surface bundles
Surface braid group is the analog of braid group on a closed surface. There is a natural map from n-strand surface braid group to m-strand by forgetting the extra strands. We will first talk about a classification of homomorphism between surface braid groups and show that forgetful maps are the only surjective maps. Then using this, we will discuss section problems of some universal surface bundles.
