The element carbon (C) is the primary building block of all living things. Every plant, animal, and person is made up of carbon and relies on carbon chemistry to live.

But carbon can do even more than that! Chemists and physicists around the world are working on making exciting new forms of carbon that can impact all parts of modern life.

Michael F. Mazza is a Caltech PhD candidate in Chemistry.

Tickets are FREE through the generosity of our donors. Reservations are needed. Please call (626) 395-6059 or email Mary Herrera.
