DG center and cocenter of a monoidal category
Matt Hogancamp,
Mathematics Department,
Northeastern University,
In this talk I will discuss well-behaved notions of dg center and dg cocenter (or trace) of a monoidal dg category. The main goal will be to discuss an explicit down-to-earth model for the dg cocenter of a monoidal dg category using Hochschild chains of the category.
The original inspiration for these notions was to obtain concrete description of centers and traces of Hecke categories, and I will discuss results of this nature as well. This is joint work in progress with Eugene Gorsky and Paul Wedrich.
