Solving Integral Trinomial Equations

For which integers can you solve the equation (using radicals)? This natural and ancient question is phrased in modern Number Theory using polynomials and their Galois groups. We present some very general and very specific results on the irreducibility and Galois groups of trinomials with integer coefficients.
