Abstract: In this talk I will discuss charge transport through a floating mesoscopic superconductor (i.e. superconducting island with appreciable charging energy) coupled to the counterpropagating fractional quantum Hall edges at the filling fraction $nu=2/3$. I will present our recent results for the conductance through such a device as a function of temperature and gate voltage applied to a superconducting island, and show that transport is strongly affected by the presence of parafermionic zero modes. However, unlike in the corresponding Majorana case where the current through the device is strongly dependent on the gate voltage, the differential conductance here is quantized in units of $\nu e^2/h$ at zero temperature for an arbitrary value of an applied gate voltage.
