In this talk we will discuss sharp L^p-estimates for Hörmander-type oscillatory integral operators, that hold under the condition that the phase function is positive-definite. This is joint work with Larry Guth and Jonathan Hickman, and is building on work of Larry Guth that established the corresponding estimates for the extension operator on the paraboloid using polynomial partitioning.
