The Seiberg-Witten equations with multiple spinors in dimension three

Motivated by the gauge theory on G2-manifolds, we propose to study the Seiberg-Witten equations with multiple spinors on three-manifolds. Much effort have been put recently in understanding possible degenerations of their solutions. I will talk about recent progress in this direction as well as relations of these equations to other gauge-theoretic problems.
