Wolff Memorial Lectures
Decoupling and applications
In one of his last papers, Tom Wolff introduced decoupling and showed its enormous potential for applications. In the first lecture I will give a gentle introduction to this Fourier analytic tool, and will discuss its impact in the fields of differential equations and number theory.
