The birational geometry of moduli spaces of sheaves on the plane

I will describe joint work with Jack Huizenga and Matthew Woolf on the effective cone of the moduli spaces of sheaves on the plane. I will describe the solution of the higher rank interpolation problem for general sheaves and discuss when Brill-Noether divisors are effective. If time permits, I will discuss joint work with Jack Huizenga on the ample cone of the moduli spaces of sheaves.
