Getting Beyond a Blind Date with Science

In a free, public talk, Alda will draw on his personal experiences—including his years as a host of the TV series, "Scientific American Frontiers"—to explore why it is critical for scientists, engineers, and health professionals to communicate clearly and effectively with the public, and how they can do better.

Alda is a visiting professor at Stony Brook University's School of Journalism and is the co-founder of its Alan Alda Center for Communicating Science.
