Prospecting for new physics using muons
Jure Zupan,
University of Cincinnati,
,
Using rare muon decays one can search for heavy off-shell states that mediate flavor changing neutral currents, or for light new physics that may be produced in such decays. Rare muon decays will be searched for using a new generation of experiments with significantly improved sensitivity. After reviewing the classical observables I will show how these experiments can also be used to search for light new physics signals.
The talk is in 469 Lauritsen.
