High Energy Theory Seminar
Multi-Twist Trajectories, Light Ray Wave Functions and the Missing Zeroes
Alexandre Homrich,
KITP, UC Santa Barbara,
Conformal Regge theory predicts the existence of analytically continued CFT data for complex spin. This immediately leads to puzzles. For example, how could this work when there are so many more operators with large spin compared to small spin? In this talk, using planar N=4 SYM as a test ground, I will explore this and other related puzzles resulting from the interplay between multi-twist trajectories and analyticity in spin in CFT. This talk is based on our recent papers with D. Simmons-Duffin and P. Vieira.
The talk is in 469 Lauritsen.
