New Phases in SYM

We construct new rotating black hole solutions to five-dimensional gauged supergravity that, via the AdS/CFT correspondence, are dual to thermal phases in N=4 SYM at finite chemical and angular potential. These solutions dominate the microcanonical ensemble and are required to reproduce the microscopic entropy of AdS black holes. We then explore the supersymmetric limit of these black holes.
