Status of ALMA: Progress of Cycle 0 Observations & Anticipated Capabilities
Kartik Sheth, ALMA,
ALMA began early science observations seven months ago. Even with only a quarter of the full complement of telescopes, the observatory has already been producing some fantastic results. I will present the current status of ALMA and give the community a flavor for the observatory operations and challenges. I will show some of the preliminary Cycle 0 results and briefly discuss the Cycle 1 capabilities.
