Bethe100 at Caltech

This one-day symposium will commemorate the life of Hans Bethe, who died last year at the age of 99. Bethe had a long-standing relationship with Caltech, having been an annual visitor in the Kellogg Lab for many years. Speakers will include President David Baltimore and Professors Gerald Brown, SUNY Stony Brook; Stanford Woosley, UC Santa Cruz and UCO/Lick Observatory; K. Langanke, GSI Darmstadt; G. Wasserburg, Caltech; and Steven Koonin, Caltech. Concluding remarks will be made by Rose Bethe.
