Neutrino Interactions at MINERvA
Kevin McFarland, University of Rochester,

Neutrino interactions on nuclei at the energies relevant for current and future accelerator oscillation experiments have momentum transfers of order \Lambda_QCD and inhabit a murky region neither dominated by elastic or inelastic processes.  These oscillation experiments are soon to be disappointed by both the state of the art of theoretical predictions of these processes and the paucity of data to guide effective models of these interactions.  The MINERvA experiment at Fermilab's NuMI neutrino beam seeks to learn about these scattering processes on a variety of nuclei.  Our early results illustrate the value of this data and the difficulties that remain.
