The Keck Institute for Space Studies (KISS) invites all interested researchers and students to attend the following short course: "Observing Terrestrial Ecosystems and the Carbon Cycle from Space".
Speakers Include:
- Ryan Pavlick (Caltech Campus) - From Stovepipes to Synthesis
- Lesley Ott (NASA Goddard Space Flight Center) - The Carbon Cycle
- Josh Fisher (JPL/Caltech) - Terrestrial Ecosystems and Land Surface Modeling
- Ralph Dubayah (University of Maryland) - Vegetation Structure/Biomass/GEDI
- Simon Hook (JPL/Caltech) - Ecohydrology/ECOSTRESS
- Christian Frankenberg (Caltech Campus) - xCO2/Fluorescence/OCO-3
- Shawn Serbin (Brookhaven National Laboratory) - Plant Traits/Imaging Spectroscopy
There is no fee to attend, no registration is required. Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first served basis. 9:30 am Coffee & Refreshments and an informal lunch is provided for all attendees.
