One Entangled Evening: A Celebration of Richard Feynman's Quantum Legacy

Series: Special Events

Please join us for a celebration of Richard Feynman's vision and a glimpse of our mind-bending quantum future.

Fifty years ago, Richard P. Feynman received the Nobel Prize in physics for his fundamental contributions to quantum electrodynamics. Today, Feynman's vision of quantum computers is driving a revolution in quantum science. Budding capabilities for controlling quantum systems are paving the way to transformative technologies, and emerging insights into the weird properties of quantum entanglement are spawning new paradigms for understanding nature.

In this entangled evening of science and entertainment, Caltech President Thomas F. Rosenbaum and John Preskill, the Richard P. Feynman Professor of Theoretical Physics will be joined by Nobel Laureate David Wineland and Microsoft Senior Researcher Krysta Svore.

The diverse program will celebrate Feynman's vision and share a glimpse of our mind-bending quantum future, featuring contributions from Bill Gates, Paul Rudd, and including special appearances by Yuri Milner and Michelle Feynman.
