The ADMX Search for Dark Matter Axions
Gray Rybka, University of Washington,

The axion is both a well-motivated candidate for dark matter and a consequence of the Peccei-Quinn solution to the Strong-CP problem in Nuclear Physics.  The ADMX G2 experiment searches for dark matter axions through their conversion to microwave photons in a strong magnetic field.  ADMX is presently exploring the well-motivated micro-eV range of axion masses with sensitivity to the most plausible benchmark models, so a discovery could be made at any time.  I will discuss recent results, techniques to increase speed at which masses can be covered, and technologies being developed to cover the entire plausible axion dark matter mass range.
