Long lived clock qubit entanglement in strontium tweezer arrays

Entanglement generation in large arrays of neutral atoms, combined with high fidelity single particle control and detection, is a critical resource for exploration of quantum many body physics, quantum metrology, and quantum information processing. We trap bosonic strontium in a hybrid apparatus which combines the high imaging resolution, scalability, and tunneling dynamics of quantum gas microscopes with the rapid and programmable low entropy state preparation afforded by optical tweezers. We apply high-Rabi-frequency adiabatic Rydberg dressing from the long-lived clock state to a Rydberg state to engineer entanglement on the clock-transition qubit. We produce clock qubit Bell states and characterize their several-second lifetime. We offer perspectives on the use of these states for quantum enhanced metrology, and we will conclude with a broad outlook on the use of our system for purposes across quantum science.
